Mahalo for choosing AlohaCare as your QUEST (Medicaid) health plan. On this page, you’ll find information to get you started using your member ID card and AlohaCare benefits. You’ll also find important phone numbers you may need right away, like customer service and pharmacy services.

If you recently received a new or updated member ID card, be sure to carry your card with you. You will need to show it to your doctor, pharmacy, and anywhere else you receive services covered by AlohaCare.

Understanding and Using Your AlohaCare Member ID Card

  • Special information about your plan. This might be about limits and other benefits, such as the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic, and Treatment (EPSDT) program for keiki. The back of your ID card has phone numbers and addresses for other services you may need.

2. Your permanent member ID card is sent a few weeks after you receive your temporary card. It has the same information as your temporary card, PLUS the name and phone number of your primary care provider. Please use your permanent ID card.

 

 

Start Using Your AlohaCare Benefits

Simply show your member ID card to use services covered by your AlohaCare plan. Here are some important phone numbers to use if you have questions and links to learn more about what’s available.

  • If you have questions about choosing or using your primary care provider (PCP), call Customer Service at 808-973-0712 or toll-free 1-877-973-0712. TTY users call 1-877-447-5990.
  • If you need after hours care and can’t reach your provider, you can call the 24 Hour Nurse Line for health advice. Call the number listed above and press option #5.
  • To get after hours medical care when your doctor’s office is closed, you can use AlohaCare Telehealth Connect services. It's free for AlohaCare members. Telehealth services let you have video visits with healthcare providers or behavior health providers using an internet-connected smartphone, tablet, or computer.   • To fill prescription drug orders or ask about pharmacy services, call the number above and press option #3. You can also visit the AlohaCare Prescription Drugs web page for more information.
  • To learn more about your medical benefits, visit AlohaCare Medical Coverage. To learn about the extra benefits you get from AlohaCare, visit AlohaCare Value-Added Services. You can also call Customer Service for any other questions you may have.
  • Register to access the Member Web Portal. You can manage your account and find information about:
    • Prior authorizations and referrals.
    • Medical and pharmacy claims.
    • Contacting your health coordinator or reviewing your care plan.
    • Signing up for the Disease Management Self-Referral Program (types of programs are listed on the site).

Understanding and Using your AlohaCare Member ID Card

Your member ID card includes:

  • Your name.
  • Your member number.
  • The name and phone number of your primary care provider.
